Hello! My name is Vadim Kulikov and I live in Helsinki, the capital of Finland. This domain, www.vadimkulikov.com, was given to me on 19. November 2011 as a graduation present. I am a research mathematician at the University of Helsinki. Here is my CV. Using this page I intend to share the multiple joys of my life. I have isolated several distinct activities from my everyday life (a.k.a. hobbies) and am going to update on them in the titles below, or even dedicate whole blogs or pages to them, in which case there is a link in the title. One of the hobbies is of course this web page and metaupdates on it are to be placed under the title About Me and This Page.
I am interested in all of mathematics and things that can be understood using the understanding of mathematics. I have completed a Bachelor, Master, Licentiate and Ph.D. degrees at the University of Helsinki (2009, 2009, 2010 and 2011 respectively). During my post-graduate studies I also spent a semester at the Mittag-Leffler Institute. I have specialized in mathematical logic and foundations of mathematics, but my interests are not limited to that. My Erdös number is 3.

I like to cook and to eat. Cuisines that I am specially interested in (as of 2012) include French, Finnish, Ethiopian, Russian, Thai and Japanese. It might happen that I will open a blog dedicated to this subject.
